Aston ranked in top 50 UK universities

09 April 2020

Aston University has risen eight places to 48th in the latest edition of the The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020.

Aston offers the perfect combination of award-winning teaching, world-class courses and a fantastic student experience. The ranking increase was partly down to improvements in the areas of staff:student ratio and the number of students gaining 1st’ class honours or 2:1 degrees.

Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Helen Higson, Aston University said: “The Staff Student Ratio is an area where the University has made significant investment over the last two years, which has seen our ranking on this factor climb by 30 places. We are also proud to be ranked 28th in the UK in the Social Inclusion section of this league table.”
