Birmingham named best university in the UK for securing graduate jobs

The University of Birmingham was awarded ‘University of the Year for Graduate Employment’ in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2015-16 this week.

The University, which is a member of the Russell Group of research universities and a founding member of Universitas 21, has an average salary for graduates of £46,500 within five years of leaving. Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir David Eastwood, said: “When students choose to go to university, they are making a big investment in their future.

“When they choose to study at Birmingham they are choosing a university that is profoundly committed to preparing them for a successful and fulfilling life ahead, as well as a world class education.”
