Bournemouth University Student Picks Up Second Oscar

26 February 2015

The Oscars took centre stage in the world of show business last weekend and one Bournemouth University graduate is celebrating a second Academy Award win.

Andrew Lockley, who studied an MA in Digital Special Effects and also won in 2011 for his work on the film Inception, said: “I'm very excited that we are winners again, everyone seems to think that we should have expected to be nominated, but it's never a sure thing. I really enjoyed my time at Bournemouth, I came in as a mature student and hadn't been to university before, so I embraced student life to its fullest."
