Cardiff Metropolitan University named Welsh University of the Year

06 October 2020

Cardiff Metropolitan University has been named the Welsh University of the Year for 2021 by The Times and Sunday Times University Guide.

The University rose 33 places in the 2021 Times UK University Rankings, the third highest rise of any university in the UK this year, and strong performances for teaching quality and the wider student experience in the National Student Survey cemented Cardiff's position as University of the Year.

Professor Cara Aitchison, Vice Chancellor and President of Cardiff Met said: “In today’s exceptionally competitive employment market, we work together as a values-driven University to give every graduate the Ethical, Digital, Global and Entrepreneurial skills that create the unique Cardiff Met EDGE."
