Coventry named best university in the UK for student development

18 September 2015

Students at Coventry have voted the University the best in the UK for personal development following the National Student Survey 2015.

The National Student Survey is an independent review which gives final year undergraduates the chance to rate how satisfied they are with their university experience. Coventry University, 15th in the Guardian University Guide 2016 – its highest ever position – was voted top for personal development, which measures how students feel their confidence, communication skills and ability to tackle problems have improved during their studies.

It is another accolade which cements Coventry as one of the fastest growing universities in the UK. The University has also won the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide’s ‘Modern University of the Year’ accolade for two years running in 2014 and 2015. Vice-chancellor John Latham said: “We strive to make sure our students have a great experience during their time here and the results from this latest survey indicate that we’re getting things right on that front.”
