Greenwich named in world top 200 universities for social, environmental and economic impact

The University of Greenwich has been named in the world's top 200 universities for its social, environmental and economic impact.

The Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings assesses universities' impact on society and the planet, based on the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Jane Harrington, said: "We're proud to take our place in the world as being a leader on these vital issues for societies, and are committed to continuing to work to really make a global difference. These issues are part of our core values as a university and we will continue to make them central to everything we do."
