University of Liverpool announces new full funding tuition for Chinese PhD students

03 February 2016

The University of Liverpool has announced a new full funding tuition opportunity within the Chemistry department for PhD students from China.

The pilot programme would grant a full tuition waiver to a small number of highly qualified BSc students from top Chinese universities admitted into University of Liverpool’s Chemistry PhD programme.

The University of Liverpool Chemistry department is ranked number one in the UK for research excellence and number two overall. In addition, the department hosts several unique research centres, including the new £65m EU research facility in materials sciences, called Materials Innovation Factory. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chinese student interested in obtaining a PhD in Chemistry.

To be accepted, students must have a BSc degree in Chemistry or a related discipline, have met the minimum English proficiency requirements of the University and have demonstrated aptitude for research in chemistry through, for example, research component of their BSc degree.
