University of Law announce new range of SQE courses

25 February 2021

The University of Law (ULaw) has announced a new range of courses to prepare students for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE).

Students joining ULaw will be able to choose to study through the current system or take the new SQE route to qualify as a solicitor from September 2021. The new University of Law courses include the Master of Laws Legal Practice, the Postgraduate Diploma in Law and the shorter preparation courses for the SQE1 and SQE2.

Prices will range from £12,000 to £16,500 for the fully comprehensive LLM, down to £500 for a short revision course. ULaw is committed to making access to the profession affordable with a wide range of scholarships and bursaries for eligible students.

Professor Peter Crisp, Pro Vice Chancellor (External), said: “Our new SQE courses give students teaching from our outstanding tutors who have extensive experience of practice as well as access to our award winning Employability Service along with all our Wellbeing and other student services offered by one of Europe’s largest law schools.
