Warwick tops THE 'Golden Age' University Rankings 2020

The University of Warwick is the leading UK university in the latest edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) 'Golden Age' University Rankings 2020.

Universities in the 'Golden Age' ranking were established between 1945 and 1966 and the ranking takes its name from what was considered a 'Golden Age' in global higher education, following rapid university expansion and increased research investment.

In total, 24 UK universities made the global top 100 - the strongest presence on the list - with University of Southampton, University of York, Lancaster UniversityUniversity of Exeter and University of Surrey also making the top 100.
