University of Oxford tops New York Times Employability Index

12 December 2014

The Global Employability University Ranking was released by the New York Times this week, with five UK universities placing among the top 20.

Based on interviews with 4,500 recruiters in 20 different countries, the University of Cambridge top the 2014 list after finishing third last year. It marks the second year in a row a UK university has finished at the head of the table after University of Oxford’s success in 2013. Oxford dropped to fourth this year.

Other UK universities featuring in the list include University College London (14th) and Imperial College London (15th), while the University of Edinburgh maintained its place in the top 20 by finishing 18th.
